Rik Numan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 14 minutes, Dacian Jurăscu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacian Jurăscu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dacian Jurăscu came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the FC Cosula-BTF- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacian Jurăscu couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the game, Dacian Jurăscu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rik Numan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dacian Jurăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rik Numan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Marin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Kuijsten in the 24th minute. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Mijdrecht Maffia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan van Fessum didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dacian Jurăscu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rik Numan was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Ovidiu Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gertjan Theisens in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 35th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Marin made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Michael Kuijsten sent off a good shot on target. Rik Numan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Hosu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Jurăscu. The Mijdrecht Maffia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Cosula-BTF- were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filip Hosu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Theisens in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rik Numan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Filip Hosu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik Numan having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Michael Kuijsten notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ovidiu Marin. Ovidiu Marin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dacian Jurăscu's late challenge caught a Mijdrecht Maffia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dacian Jurăscu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mijdrecht Maffia booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Jurăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Aurel Lăceanu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Aurelian Giurcă got a free kick in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dacian Jurăscu in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rik Numan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Theisens in the 84th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Mijdrecht Maffia from getting a goal against them. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mijdrecht Maffia! With a little luck, Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan got control of the ball when Dacian Jurăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
