An unexpectedly hard shot by Svante Bröms in the 11th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Juoksengi's Erland Giöck in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morro Grande E.C's goalie prevented a goal. After 17th play minutes Erland Giöck shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Fernando Veloso and just under the crossbar into goal. 21 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Bröms came free, but Fernando Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Erland Giöck sped through Morro Grande E.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Veloso. Svante Bröms took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Veloso. Fernando Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Erik Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fernando Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juoksengi's Erland Giöck got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Svante Bröms put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Veloso. After having played for 41 minutes, Carlos Augusto Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Augusto Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 played minutes Juoksengi got a freekick which was hit by Jon Hökqvist.

The wind increased when Carlos Augusto Martins made the kick off in the second half. Svante Bröms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Veloso having to interfere. If Erland Giöck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Svante Bröms made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Veloso. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. If Svante Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juoksengi's Kjell Persson was substituted for Ernst Holmberg. After 60 minutes, Robinho de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the Juoksengi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robinho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Erik Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Fernando Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Bock in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Tomas Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juoksengi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonel Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Bock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svante Bröms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Veloso having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Juoksengi's Paul Bock dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Kjell Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Molin struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Fernando Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juoksengi. If Svante Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Melin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Costa in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Morro Grande E.C got a corner. Juoksengi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Augusto Travassos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that José Augusto Travassos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Melin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juoksengi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
