Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonito Teufer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lautaro Navarro 16 minutes into the match. Anjo Gafus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Villa's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Honduras's Sebastian Villa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fc Schönhagen 1 were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erik Piller took the corner. In the 27th minute, Heiner Wirtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Schönhagen 1 the free kick. It was a brilliant solo performance by Fc Schönhagen 1's Fredo Herzog when he shot the ball into the net to 2-1 in the 44th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Conni Viehl could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Lautaro Navarro however easily saved by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conni Viehl to strike the kick off in the second half. Bonito Teufer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Anjo Gafus. In the 74th minute, Fredo Herzog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anjo Gafus having to make a save. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anjo Gafus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Piller in the 86th minute of play. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Honduras's Moises Tafalla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Blaise Immel, made in the 96th minute of the game. Anjo Gafus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Tafalla went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The Honduras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Honduras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
