Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Cordeiro in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luiz Cordeiro in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Luca Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Pedro Meirelles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Cordeiro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantijn Schoovaerts came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantijn Schoovaerts in the 23rd minute. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Pedro Meirelles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Falcão de Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomb Raider FC's Constantijn Schoovaerts got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. João Pedro Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. João Pedro Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of the match. João Pedro Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 54th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Tomb Raider FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro Meirelles was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Váldson Palmeira took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 86 minutes of play, Tomb Raider FC's Constantijn Schoovaerts made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Balthazar Minnen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Balthazar Minnen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tomb Raider FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
