CARP2020's Lisandro Bastiaro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CARP2020's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Frederik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, CARP2020's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermegildo Frederik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Bastiaro in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Frederik in the 50th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 75th minute of the match. CARP2020's Everardo Maidana was substituted for Mauro Rosario. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Estefan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Casimiro Estefan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. In the 90th minute, Dario Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Maidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
