Fabio Santilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZigZag Athletic's attentive Wiktor Gaszynski managed to snatch the ball when Kong Zhou Li made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos came free, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sataporn Snabl in the 25th minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Mehmet Akif Ersoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Akif Ersoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 33 minutes, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KIA KAHA and the ZigZag Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, KIA KAHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th match minute, KIA KAHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Calzada to maneuver through the defense. After the first half KIA KAHA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Nestor to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Mehmet Akif Ersoy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zdzislaw Rydzewski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Glanselius in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, KIA KAHA's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Corrêa came free, but Fabio Santilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Daniel Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Akif Ersoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fidel Shantala hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Daniel Glanselius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After some careless play in the KIA KAHA defense, Rodrigo Nestor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Santilli. The KIA KAHA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Santilli should have stopped the shot. Daniel Glanselius succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 94th playminute.

KIA KAHA played a much better game than ZigZag Athletic and deserved their victory. The ZigZag Athletic players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
