Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Suárez Yasin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Espinillo's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suárez Yasin came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Suárez Yasin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suárez Yasin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Placido Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The wind increased when Placido Patxi made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Suárez Yasin came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 53rd minute. Eloy Gorka kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 59 played minutes Espinillo got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Garin. In the 62nd minute of the match Ezequiel Onbera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Amado Savier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Savier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Espinillo's Suárez Yasin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Espinillo from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Savier in the 73rd minute of the match. Placido Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Suárez Yasin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Placido Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Onbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Suárez Yasin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
