After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Alexander Mandelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Alexander Mandelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the game, Corrado Di Febo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Julio Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Julio Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Ferrant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Piattelli having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Concetto Piattelli. Pedriano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Fontirroig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alfredo Ferrant struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Concetto Piattelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Concetto Piattelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 26th minute of play. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. Alexander Mandelli kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Pedriano's Demetrio Santo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bolivia's goalie prevented a goal. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demetrio Santo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Alfredo Ferrant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedriano's Concetto Piattelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Pedriano from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Pedriano's Concetto Piattelli got control of the ball when Mario Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Mario Fernandino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 68 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Santo came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pedriano booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Eduardo Fontirroig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 95th match minute, Pedriano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Mandelli to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Ferrant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Concetto Piattelli. That made the score 1-4 in the 97 minute of play. Bolivia played a much better game than Pedriano and deserved their victory. The Pedriano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
