Lev Zimin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maksim Karpol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergey Kostenetskiy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Savva Evdokimov came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. The supporters of Фиолетовая машина booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Arkadiy Pakhomov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Фиолетовая машина's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkadiy Pakhomov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Фиолетовая машина's Sergey Kostenetskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. Sergey Kostenetskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of the match. Sergey Kostenetskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 37 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Фиолетовая машина's Sergey Kostenetskiy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Savva Evdokimov came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Фиолетовая машина fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savva Evdokimov couldn't finish the play. The Фиолетовая машина players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 1-2.

When Фиолетовая машина's Savva Evdokimov in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Lev Zimin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 64th minute Arkadiy Pakhomov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savva Evdokimov in the 68th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergey Kostenetskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Фиолетовая машина made a substitution. Irakliy Abakshin replaced Savva Evdokimov. After 71 minutes Фиолетовая машина's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergey Kostenetskiy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gerasim Larionov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Irakliy Abakshin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Irakliy Abakshin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Arkadiy Pakhomov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiy Pakhomov in the 94th minute of play. Фиолетовая машина were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Venezuela to leave the ground with a draw.
