In the 6th minute, Leopoldo Capixaba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gino Britto. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Toninho da Cunha got a free kick in the 8th minute. André Romero succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Gino Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Que se abra o mar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gernando dos Santos took the corner. The corner led Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Gernando dos Santos to fire away a dangerous shot which Gino Britto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Donato during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Que se abra o mar getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Marquinhos Donato hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Rafa Coutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gino Britto was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Nildo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 43 minutes, Adrianinho Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Varela to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rafa Coutinho made a precise shot to the right of Gino Britto. Que se abra o mar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Nildo Cruz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Que se abra o mar's Carlos Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gino Britto came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Rafa Coutinho. But to his dismay, Rafa Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Rafa Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Paulo Botelho got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Que se abra o mar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Peres to maneuver through the defense. Walmir Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Varela's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. André Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafa Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tostão Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Toninho da Cunha got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rafa Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Paulo Botelho notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto. Gino Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Que se abra o mar defense, Leopoldo Capixaba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gino Britto. The Que se abra o mar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gino Britto should have stopped the shot. Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 93rd minute of play. Gino Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
