Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Héctor Hernández started the match with the kick off. João Paulo Baiano came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Mathias Favoretto. But to his dismay, Mathias Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the DENVER™ defense, Héctor Hernández kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Paulo Baiano. The DENVER™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Paulo Baiano should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Toscano got free with Toninho Schmidt in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Paulo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Mathias Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Héctor Hernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toninho Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Luiz Guilherme Toscano sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Héctor Hernández's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. João Paulo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. João Paulo Baiano came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Héctor Hernández. But to his dismay, Héctor Hernández quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The DENVER™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MAZER SAF were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Guilherme Toscano to make the kick off. The nice shot from Héctor Hernández in the 55thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but João Paulo Baiano had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. João Paulo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Gonçalves in the 60th minute of the match. João Paulo Baiano came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Paulo Renato Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. MAZER SAF's João Carlos Fantini was substituted for Doriva Carneiro. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Enéas Ceresso replaced Mathias Favoretto. 71 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goalkeeper João Paulo Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enéas Ceresso. With a little luck, DENVER™'s João Paulo Baiano got control of the ball when Héctor Hernández tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, one of DENVER™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, MAZER SAF's Héctor Hernández got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of João Paulo Baiano. Toninho Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Carvalho in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enéas Ceresso in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Paulo Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Róbson Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. MAZER SAF played a much better game than DENVER™ and deserved their victory. The DENVER™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
