The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gino Amarals short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Charles Sarmento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 6 minutes into the game, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Gil dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute Ronaldo Serra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafinha Sergipano hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Adalberto Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Adalberto Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Marques in the 16th minute of play. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Que se abra o mar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafinha Sergipano took the corner. After taking down the ball on Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's corner Gil dos Santos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leandro Cardozo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th minute, Gil dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ronaldo Serra sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Adalberto Vianna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Cardozo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Serra during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Que se abra o mar getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ronaldo Serra hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Que se abra o mar defense, Falcão Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Cardozo. The Que se abra o mar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Cardozo should have stopped the shot. Leandro Cardozo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Gil dos Santos. But to his dismay, Gil dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Falcão Marques took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Cardozo. Leandro Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Gino Amaral's late challenge caught a Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gino Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when Que se abra o mar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Falcão Marques made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Cardozo. Que se abra o mar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Falcão Marques to strike the kick off in the second half. Leandro Cardozo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques. But to his dismay, Falcão Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 60 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goalkeeper Leandro Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Falcão Marques. Leandro Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Vianna in the 63rd minute of the match. A hard shot 67 in the game by Falcão Marques from a close distance when the talented Leandro Cardozo managed to make a qualified save. Que se abra o mar's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Que se abra o mar defense, Adalberto Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Cardozo. The Que se abra o mar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Cardozo should have stopped the shot. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Tiago Fontes was substituted for Adriano Secco. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Hermínio Maciel was substituted for João Vítor Alves. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Que se abra o mar. The crowd rose to their feet as Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Cardozo. That made the score 0-10 after 86 minutes of play. After 92 minutes of play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Cardozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Arce came free, but Leandro Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Vianna came free, but Leandro Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
