Toninho Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8thth minute of the game Paulo Renato Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Walmir Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 8 minutes, Charles Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® and the MAZER SAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Paulo Renato Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Charles Vergílio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Capixaba to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
