The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márcio Guedes during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Márcio Guedes got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute Márcio Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DENVER™'s Delfim Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Fonseca in the 13th minute of play. Delfim Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Nilmar Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Luís Eduardo Araújo got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Dé Paiva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delfim Bastos. Dé Paiva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Paiva in the 37th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Delfim Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Mota in the 41st minute of play. When Mestre GG's João Francisco Mota, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mestre GG. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dé Paiva made the kick off in the second half. Delfim Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Gino Carneiro. After 60 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Araújo. Luís Eduardo Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mestre GG's João Francisco Mota tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Eduardo Araújo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nilmar Freitas took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raúl de Amaral. Raúl de Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Freitas in the 95th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
