With a little luck, Ogro F.C.'s Chicão Barbosa got control of the ball when Falcão Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chicão Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil dos Santos in the 11th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Chicão Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Passos to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Adalberto Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the Ogro F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Vianna to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Mineiro. But to his dismay, Falcão Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Vágner Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Sarmento was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Hélder Simão hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Chicão Barbosa was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Gil dos Santos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gil dos Santos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Charles Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Simão in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chicão Barbosa. Chicão Barbosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Marques got free with Chicão Barbosa in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão Marques to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Falcão Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chicão Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s Evandro Passos got a free kick in the 57th minute. Chicão Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chicão Matos during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Matos to maneuver through the defense. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF made a substitution. Tiago Fontes replaced Adriano Secco. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Chicão Matos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Falcão Marques in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermínio Maciel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Chicão Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Tiago Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Vágner Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When João Francisco Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ogro F.C.'s protests and gave João Francisco Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Alagoano. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chicão Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Marques in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Vianna to maneuver through the defense.
