Elano Reis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's Wilian Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Paulo Urbano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dé Paiva hit a great ball. Henrique Lago hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Luisinho Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerson Ramos. Amadeu Pombal might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Paulo Urbano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeu Pombal ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elano Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Luisinho Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henrique Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Trigo to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Reis. Wilian Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. João Paulo Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mestre GG. S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Paiva in the 73rd minute of play. If Dé Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Dé Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mestre GG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Fonseca in the 89th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
