The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when Aesir FC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerson Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Romero in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Antunes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ángel Romero in the 15th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gerson Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Donelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Oliveira in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Aesir FC FSCMZ defense, Cafu Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerson Viana. The Aesir FC FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerson Viana should have stopped the shot. Andrézinho Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Matheus Donelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerson Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel Romero in the 33rd minute of play. Cafu Alagoano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Gerson Viana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gerson Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Alagoano went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. André Ramalho hit a great ball. With a little luck, MAZER SAF's Matheus Donelli got control of the ball when André Luís Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's André Ramalho got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Alagoano in the 59th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gerson Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, MAZER SAF's Rômulo Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerson Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gerson Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Romero in the 63rd minute of the match. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Gerson Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Alagoano in the 65th minute of play. Gerson Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gernando Vianna hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. André Luís Loureiro, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 75th minute, Rômulo Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Rômulo Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MAZER SAF's Matheus Donelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Cosme in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Amaral in the 82nd minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gerson Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Romero in the 85th minute of the match. MAZER SAF were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Aesir FC FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ángel Romero took the corner. After 88 minutes of play, MAZER SAF's Cafu Alagoano made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerson Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MAZER SAF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aesir FC FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
