After 13 minutes of play, DENVER™'s Guilherme Abud made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Urbano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, S.C. Reis United's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Velasco came free, but João Paulo Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Trancoso in the 25th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Delfim Bastos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30thth minute of the game Guilherme Abud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Elano Reis.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guilherme Abud made a kick off. Delfim Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Reis in the 68th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute of the match, Guilherme Abud got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Paulo Urbano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Diguinho Vargas's late challenge caught a S.C. Reis United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho Vargas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Diguinho Vargas got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Clóvis Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Reis United's protests and gave Clóvis Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Nunes to maneuver through the defense. With his leg João Paulo Urbano managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when DENVER™'s Waldir Romero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
