Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Velasco Dayson kicked off to start the match. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAREA-AZUL's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Velasco Dayson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Velasco Dayson had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. 13 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAREA-AZUL the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velasco Dayson in the 14th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loco Fournier saved MAREA-AZUL from getting behind. After having played for 18 minutes, Sebastián Dargham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAREA-AZUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastián Dargham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Cristóvão Abrantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Elodio Pais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velasco Dayson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco Fournier having to interfere. After 41 played minutes MAREA-AZUL got a freekick which was hit by Jose Miguel Torrealba. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute of the game, Tomas Illescas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 43 minutes, Jose Miguel Torrealba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAREA-AZUL and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MAREA-AZUL's Jose Miguel Torrealba got a free kick in the 44th minute. Cristóvão Abrantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Ocampo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Velasco Dayson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MAREA-AZUL's Sebastián Dargham suffered a sore thigh after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. MAREA-AZUL made a substitution. Lucas Pastore replaced Sebastián Dargham. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nahuel Araoz in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Velasco Dayson in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Velasco Dayson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the MAREA-AZUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velasco Dayson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 64th minute of play forced MAREA-AZUL's goalkeeper Loco Fournier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Ocampo got free with Loco Fournier in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. MAREA-AZUL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joshua Secada ran over to the corner to take the kick. Venezuela's Joshua Secada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Loco Fournier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Abrantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Pastore came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Abrantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velasco Dayson in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velasco Dayson in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 85 played minutes Roberto Ocampo rounded MAREA-AZUL's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Lucas Pastore took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
