In the 5thth minute of the game Adelino Bastos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Adelino Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dušan Kinder was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Arkadiusz Smolarek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardo Kaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kuno Karmo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's protests and gave Kuno Karmo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aidu Metskonna Pöörased getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kuno Karmo hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Roland Laureys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dušan Kinder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Laureys in the 13th minute of play forced Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's goalkeeper Dušan Kinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerd Viru in the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Adelino Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katowice i Kluczbork's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hardo Kaar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arkadiusz Smolarek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Katowice i Kluczbork were awarded a corner. Julian Jaszcz went to the cornerflag to take it. Roland Laureys made a great header on Katowice i Kluczbork's corner, it was just that Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder managed to reach the ball for a save. Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Katowice i Kluczbork from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Laureys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roland Laureys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes in the game, Adelino Bastos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ziemowit Lichorobiec's late challenge caught a Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ziemowit Lichorobiec helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Katowice i Kluczbork was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Lichorobiec to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes Katowice i Kluczbork got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Lichorobiec. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elmo Lodev in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Smolarek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Elmo Lodev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aidu Metskonna Pöörased fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dušan Kinder made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Bogdan Gabis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardo Kaar in the 79th minute of play forced Katowice i Kluczbork's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Laureys might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dušan Kinder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roland Laureys ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Laureys in the 91st minute of play forced Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's goalkeeper Dušan Kinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dušan Kinder was a little too slow when Bogdan Gabis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Roland Laureys struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Dušan Kinder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katowice i Kluczbork.
