In the 15th minute Olov Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Olov Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Johnsson in the 17th minute of the match. Carl-Chester Vallgren was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Zhao Sen Yang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zhao Sen Yang really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save VBL Stockholm from getting a goal against them. Zhao Sen Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl-Chester Vallgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhao Sen Yang ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Johnsson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Chiuzbaian saved Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Johnsson in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Chiuzbaian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Johnsson in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Torbjörn Grönlund was slow to take the kick. During this time VBL Stockholm's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie and right to Bernt Vallander. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 42nd match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Iftode to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Olov Johnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VBL Stockholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Zhao Sen Yang made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren. Carl-Chester Vallgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute, Jonatan Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, VBL Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eerik Lilleorg to maneuver through the defense. If Zhao Sen Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carl-Chester Vallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 69th minute of play. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 87th minute of play. Bernt Vallander charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Vallander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Bernt Vallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski was substituted for Grigore Maghiran. A collision led to VBL Stockholm getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bernt Vallander hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes VBL Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Holmstedt. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VBL Stockholm for a fine match.
