Under Construct's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Bilintx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14th minute, Rogelio Sotil made a precise shot to the right of Laurence Swartenbroekx. Under Construct's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Under Construct's Laurence Swartenbroekx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Under Construct from getting a goal against them. After 25 minutes of play, Estudiantes de La Plata's Marcos Bilintx made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurence Swartenbroekx was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the game, Marcos Bilintx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laurence Swartenbroekx. Marcos Bilintx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Andris Gooris charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andris Gooris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Mauro Evarado fired a really elegant long shot, but Laurence Swartenbroekx threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 34th minute, Joel Barco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Laurence Swartenbroekx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Sotil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurence Swartenbroekx having to make a save. A collision led to Under Construct getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dean Spoelberghe hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Estudiantes de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Poz. A hard shot by Santiago Iaki from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Laurence Swartenbroekx's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
Estudiantes de La Plata's Albino Viviano was substituted for Marcos Bilintx. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Sotil was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Albino Viviano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de La Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estudiantes de La Plata reached it. In the 61st minute, Albino Viviano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de La Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 65th minute Albino Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Swartenbroekx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Under Construct defense, Albino Viviano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurence Swartenbroekx. The Under Construct fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurence Swartenbroekx should have stopped the shot. Under Construct's Laurence Swartenbroekx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Sotil in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Viviano in the 80th minute of play forced Under Construct's goalkeeper Laurence Swartenbroekx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Sotil in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurence Swartenbroekx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurence Swartenbroekx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Viviano in the 84th minute of the match. Rogelio Sotil scored 10-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurence Swartenbroekx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Estudiantes de La Plata walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
