In the 3rd minute Marcos Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Rogelio Sotil notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of October 04's Davi Couto. Davi Couto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 16 played minutes Estudiantes de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Gartzea. Nicolas Kepa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Davi Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Sotil in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Pueblo came free, but Davi Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Rogelio Sotil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. A very good chance. 0-3 became the score in the 46th minute when Marcos Bilintx elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wesley Teles made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Rogelio Sotil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Viviano came free, but Davi Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de La Plata's Rogelio Sotil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davi Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
