The audience was convinced that Silvério Tróia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nery Pumpido was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Cipriano Eguzki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yo Soy Tu Padre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Stan Polspoel scored to the left of an out of position Nery Pumpido, making the score, 2-1. Angelo Cibran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Nery Pumpido made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno Chaime stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yo Soy Tu Padre's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Cibran in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Tróia in the 68th minute of play forced Yo Soy Tu Padre's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Eguzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Tróia in the 76th minute of play forced Yo Soy Tu Padre's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
