To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Yo Soy Tu Padre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bianco Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Oliveira in the 24th minute of the match. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléber da Costa in the 26th minute. Yo Soy Tu Padre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natã Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1.
