In the 19th minute, Josh Allen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute Marcos Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Ernst Ballas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josh Allen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rogelio Sotil hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Marcos Bilintx elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fritz Ernst Ballas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Estudiantes de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Pueblo. Josef Hoff's late challenge caught a Estudiantes de La Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Hoff helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Buffalo Bills got a freekick which was hit by Josef Hoff. In the 44th minute Rogelio Sotil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Ernst Ballas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Estudiantes de La Plata made a substitution. Placido Estefan replaced Esteve Pueblo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogelio Sotil made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Dalton Kincaid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buffalo Bills's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalton Kincaid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Kepa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ole Meul hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Albino Viviano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Dalton Kincaid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de La Plata's Rogelio Sotil got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute Albino Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Ernst Ballas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Placido Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josh Allen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Estudiantes de La Plata's Rogelio Sotil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fritz Ernst Ballas. Fritz Ernst Ballas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 97th minute, Placido Estefan made a precise shot to the right of Fritz Ernst Ballas. Buffalo Bills's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.
