Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Cavalcante in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iosif Gabrea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Durval Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tupirama's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Gabrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Tupirama's goalkeeper Dorival Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Lera. If Denis Lera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tupirama's zone, Sebastian Diculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Quadros came out of the goal and Sebastian Diculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If João Paulo Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Tupirama's Marcos Cavalcante fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 22nd match minute, Jacul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Ghișerel to maneuver through the defense. Denis Lera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dorival Quadros made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Jacul's Vlad Ghișerel got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Sebastian Diculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dorival Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tupirama's Dorival Quadros got control of the ball when Denis Lera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorival Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Diculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd minute of the match Mugurel Aluncai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorival Quadros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Denis Lera came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Jacul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Lera couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the game, Robert Chitimia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tupirama the free kick. The supporters of Tupirama booed when Jacul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Chitimia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafim Vergílio hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Jacul's Damian Brezeanu in action when he in the 66th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 70thth minute of the game Denis Lera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tupirama's Dorival Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Chitimia scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorival Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Jacul's Iosif Gabrea got control of the ball when Marcos Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. When João Paulo Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Tupirama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Paulo Bastos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Diculescu in the 81st minute of play forced Tupirama's goalkeeper Dorival Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Sebastian Diculescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dorival Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Diculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tupirama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jacul.
