Eneko Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pere Espellosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Deportivo Torreblanca defense, Xesus Pas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eneko Abancens. The Deportivo Torreblanca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eneko Abancens should have stopped the shot.
