Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abdellah Boniche got the match started through his kick off. Abdulhamid Prévost hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. August Kossendey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hachemi Belloumi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Nothhelfer during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of New Orleans AFC booed when FC Puhl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Nothhelfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Puhl's zone, Ismael Assad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volkmar Post came out of the goal and Ismael Assad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes of play, New Orleans AFC's Ismael Assad made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volkmar Post was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th match minute, New Orleans AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yasmina Lelouch to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ismael Assad managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Orleans AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Assad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volkmar Post breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 played minutes Abdellah Boniche rounded FC Puhl's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After 42 played minutes New Orleans AFC got a freekick which was hit by Yasmina Lelouch. August Kossendey struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hachemi Belloumi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Puhl. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when August Kossendey made the kick off in the second half. Timofej Rehnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hachemi Belloumi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of New Orleans AFC booed when FC Puhl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timofej Rehnen didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 60th minute of the match Yasmina Lelouch completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Yasmina Lelouch a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 64th minute, Karl Wedemeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Puhl's Volkmar Post played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Assad in the 65th minute of play. When Durs Theobald fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Puhl's protests and gave Durs Theobald a yellow card for diving instead. Durs Theobald hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Timofej Rehnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hachemi Belloumi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Assad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hachemi Belloumi made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Timofej Rehnen sent off a good shot on target. Volkmar Post stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Assad's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Kossendey in the 83rd minute of play forced New Orleans AFC's goalkeeper Hachemi Belloumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abdellah Boniche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. August Kossendey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hachemi Belloumi having to interfere. Abdellah Boniche's late challenge caught a FC Puhl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdellah Boniche helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Abdellah Boniche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New Orleans AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
