After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Germano Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timofej Rehnen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oséias da Costa having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, Se Leu Mamou's goal looked a bit too open when August Kossendey came free, but Oséias da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timofej Rehnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Oséias da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half FC Puhl were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Albertino Lucas made the kick off in the second half. Timofej Rehnen kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of FC Puhl booed when Se Leu Mamou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Se Leu Mamou's goalkeeper Oséias da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timofej Rehnen. Oséias da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Kossendey, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 60th match minute, FC Puhl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Rabe to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Se Leu Mamou's goalkeeper Oséias da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timofej Rehnen. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Adriano Velasco put in a rough tackle. When Ingemar Nothhelfer fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Puhl's protests and gave Ingemar Nothhelfer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Ingemar Nothhelfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Timofej Rehnen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oséias da Costa. Se Leu Mamou's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timofej Rehnen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Thanks to some nice moves Timofej Rehnen could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Oséias da Costa however easily saved by the left post. After 84 played minutes August Kossendey rounded Se Leu Mamou's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. If Teodoro Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
