An unexpectedly hard shot by August Kossendey in the 27th minute of play forced Leonaxzz FC's goalkeeper Devin Regan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half FC Puhl were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match was over FC Puhl could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leonaxzz FC throughout the match.
