The supporters of Avencas AD booed when New Orleans AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Dante in the 18th minute of play forced New Orleans AFC's goalkeeper Hachemi Belloumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Assad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Deivid Mineiro made a huge save. Cássio Figueiredo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Abdellah Boniche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deivid Mineiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, New Orleans AFC's Yasmina Lelouch got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Vivaldo Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Ismael Assad put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Deivid Mineiro. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Samuel Furtado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Avencas AD protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Samuel Furtado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 58th minute, one of Avencas AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Avencas AD. Abdelkader Mimoun placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!
