In the 10th minute Leonid Afteni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bogdan Dăscălescu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LIVIUS UNITED MLS's protests and gave Bogdan Dăscălescu a yellow card for diving instead. Bogdan Dăscălescu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Cina came free, but Yanick Knecht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bartolomé Perpiñán's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Yanick Knecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 30th minute of play. Ysmael Marfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolomé Perpiñán's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Bartolomé Perpiñán in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. When LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Bogdan Dăscălescu in 70 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ysmael Marfil guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 71st minute Moise Vlădean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Knecht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Ysmael Marfil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save DINAMO from getting a goal against them. Yanick Knecht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Vlădean in the 84th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalie and right to Ryszard Borcz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Daniel Şimandan hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Bartolomé Perpiñán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal and Bartolomé Perpiñán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ysmael Marfil made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Bartolomé Perpiñán sent off a good shot on target. LIVIUS UNITED MLS played a much better game than DINAMO and deserved their victory. The DINAMO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
