Iwo Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Guerra in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vsevolod Mischenko in the 27th minute of play forced New Team's goalkeeper Leon Golmayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Spartan FC Mogilany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwo Domarecki should have stopped the shot. Leon Golmayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Octavian Nicolescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartan FC Mogilany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Skaradowski in the 43rd minute of play forced New Team's goalkeeper Leon Golmayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Wojciech Skaradowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Golmayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 45th match minute, Spartan FC Mogilany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Ulici to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of New Team booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Ulici didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Vilson Ibarguen in the 49th minute of play was well struck, but Iwo Domarecki made a really good save at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cauã Guerra to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Octavian Nicolescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartan FC Mogilany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Nicolescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Guerra in the 56th minute of play forced Spartan FC Mogilany's goalkeeper Iwo Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Skoglund kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Leon Golmayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Skaradowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Spartan FC Mogilany's Diogo Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Golmayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. New Team's Leon Golmayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save New Team from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, New Team's Cauã Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwo Domarecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iwo Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Gox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes of play, Spartan FC Mogilany's Octavian Nicolescu made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Golmayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Spartan FC Mogilany's Konstanty Smolarek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Wojciech Skaradowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Leon Golmayo to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Konstanty Smolarek got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
