Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's Romeo Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Afteni in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Şimandan came free, but Romeo Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Şimandan to make the kick off.
