Iwo Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus Van Hove in the 3rd minute of the match. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Paulus Van Hove managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. de belletrekkers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulus Van Hove was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kajetan Fronczak made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wojciech Skaradowski. After a rather tough play, Spartan FC Mogilany's Eric Florescu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the last second Iwo Domarecki throw himself and got hold of the ball when Paulus Van Hove in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 25 minutes Spartan FC Mogilany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marten Merckx who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Aurelian Barboni heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rein Goethals got free with Iwo Domarecki in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iwo Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Barboni in the 41st minute of play. Rein Goethals received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Iwo Domarecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Paulus Van Hove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Spartan FC Mogilany's Vsevolod Mischenko was substituted for Liam Hähner. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara got control of the ball when Konstanty Smolarek tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wojciech Skaradowski couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara got control of the ball when Konstanty Smolarek tried to sneak it across the goal line. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartan FC Mogilany's Konstanty Smolarek. But to his dismay, Konstanty Smolarek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.
