In the 17th minute, Fariz Swee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gertjan Imberechts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederic Feys in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danial Ching prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gertjan Imberechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khairul Paine, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes of play, Redbourn AFC's Khairul Paine made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gertjan Imberechts was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes, Francois Van de Leest mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vriendenkring Wippelgem and the Redbourn AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vriendenkring Wippelgem reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Redbourn AFC's zone, Frederic Feys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danial Ching came out of the goal and Frederic Feys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Bram Cornelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francois Van de Leest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial Ching having to interfere. Khairul Paine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gertjan Imberechts having to interfere.
