With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan de Vlieger in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Herauso saved Club Atletico Fenix from getting behind. Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Bergfeldt in the 14th minute of play. Fabio Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Boschker in the 15th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Szegh. If Zebastian Bergfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan de Vlieger in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Herauso saved Club Atletico Fenix from getting behind. Fabio Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan de Vlieger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Fabio Herauso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes, Jan de Vlieger made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes Jan de Vlieger rounded Club Atletico Fenix's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan de Vlieger in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ralph Roeles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Fafinski in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan de Vlieger to make the kick off. After 58 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Jakov Cvjetković. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Jan de Vlieger came free, but Fabio Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan de Vlieger during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Jan de Vlieger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan de Vlieger in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 70th minute, Cipriano Ledesma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jan de Vlieger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan de Vlieger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Herauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerard Boschker hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Damian Hitz came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Club Atletico Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Hitz couldn't finish the play. If Hub van Schaik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Jan de Vlieger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zebastian Bergfeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Herauso was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Club Atletico Fenix's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
