Amadeo Truylos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beltrán Lucas in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernie Veloz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cecilio Seber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernie Veloz was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Bernie Veloz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Rius in the 34th minute of the match. Benito Arixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Fabio Herauso made a huge save. Bernie Veloz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Rius in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cecilio Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Fenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Seber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernie Veloz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
