In the 11th minute, Damaso Aresti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Lucero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Fagondo in the 29th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Bernat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Serafim Eanes made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Larpe got free with Serafim Eanes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Aresti in the 37th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Joaquin Lucero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Esiquio came free, but Joaquin Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Dionisia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Urtats didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes, Cecilio Erlantz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dionisia and the NECKER49 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cecilio Erlantz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Benigno Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute Benigno Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
