Tomás Frantzes struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Humberto Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Juninho Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasilino and the Argentinean Patriots 1816 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Rosa. After some careless play in the Brasilino defense, Tomás Frantzes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Xavier. The Brasilino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Xavier should have stopped the shot. Humberto Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Paulo Furlan was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Argentinean Patriots 1816 booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Bello Cura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bello Cura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Xavier having to make a save. The supporters of Brasilino booed when Argentinean Patriots 1816 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Serantoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bello Cura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Xavier having to make a save. If Bello Cura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Bello Cura came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Pekka Rollins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Humberto Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Bello Cura notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Brasilino's Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Argentinean Patriots 1816 getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Jurre van Heiningen hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Paulo Furlan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidoro Rio. That made the score 8-1 in the 98 minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Argentinean Patriots 1816 fully deserved thier win.
