The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Humberto Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Leite in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, COURO COME FC's Joacim Myhr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Coutinho came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Joacim Myhr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-11.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Furlan to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luciano Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Xavier stood somewhat misplaced when Décio Veiga came free in front of goal and shot 0-12 to the left of him in the 53 minute. Humberto Xavier came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by COURO COME FC's Geovani Coutinho. But to his dismay, Geovani Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Iuri Cardozo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Xavier came out and tried to block the shot, but Iuri Cardozo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 61st minute. In the 63rd match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Veiga in the 65th minute. Juninho Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juninho Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton da Silveira during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hílton da Silveira hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Leal. 73 minutes into the game, Décio Veiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Xavier. Décio Veiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Humberto Xavier was a little too slow when Luiz Paulo do Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-17. The crowd rose to their feet as COURO COME FC's Joacim Myhr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Humberto Xavier. That made the score 0-18 after 79 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Décio Veiga in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Xavier saved Brasilino from getting behind. After some careless play in the COURO COME FC defense, Frank Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Olentzaro. The COURO COME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Olentzaro should have stopped the shot. Humberto Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Xavier was a little too slow when Iuri Cardozo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-19. After 95 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Prata. The Brasilino fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. COURO COME FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
