Humberto Xavier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vânderson Castro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Juninho Rosa hit a great ball. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Negri in the 12th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Pedro Paulo Furlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Brasilino got a corner. AKI CORINTHIANS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hílton da Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hílton da Silveira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paredes Fortes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Pedro Paulo Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Fortes was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Humberto Xavier came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil. But to his dismay, Ciro Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Juninho Rosa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Brasilino from getting a goal against them. Humberto Xavier stood somewhat misplaced when Ciro Brasil came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. 39 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Brasil. When AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brasilino's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th minute Pedro Paulo Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Humberto Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Brasil went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Ciro Brasil notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Brasilino's Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Negri in the 61st minute of play. Humberto Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vânderson Castro went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Brasilino defense, Vânderson Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Xavier. The Brasilino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Xavier should have stopped the shot. The supporters of AKI CORINTHIANS booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Ciro Brasil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Brasil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Ciro Brasil took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Chaves in the 93rd minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
