The supporters of Asesinos Por Naturaleza booed when AKI CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Beto Márcico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paredes Fortes. Paredes Fortes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Márcico came free, but Paredes Fortes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto Márcico in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Fortes saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Beto Márcico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Fortes was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baltasar Bertol in the 29th minute. Baltasar Bertol made a great header on Asesinos Por Naturaleza's corner, it was just that AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes managed to reach the ball for a save. Paredes Fortes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Márcico, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Márcico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Asesinos Por Naturaleza were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Beto Márcico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Paredes Fortes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in AKI CORINTHIANS's zone, Rui Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paredes Fortes came out of the goal and Rui Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vânderson Castro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Rui Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Matias Ceandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Brasil in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Vânderson Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asesinos Por Naturaleza made a substitution. Felipe Ralondo replaced Beto Márcico. Vânderson Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Ralondo in the 68th minute of play. If Eusébio Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes got control of the ball when Felipe Ralondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Custódio's late challenge caught a Asesinos Por Naturaleza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Custódio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Juan Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
