Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mihail Pânzaru made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute Mihail Pânzaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes of play, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardino Dimas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Dimas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute Pegaso were awarded a corner. Jairo Valery went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Pegaso's Efren Dobale to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardino Dimas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 14th minute of play. The throw-in from Delmar Tabor in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético Rio Cuarto's Teodoro Cordarryl. In the 23rd minute Pegaso were awarded a corner. Jairo Valery went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Pegaso's Delmar Tabor getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The corner led Atlético Rio Cuarto's Carlos Eduardo da Silveira to fire away a dangerous shot which Loren Prats despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Jairo Valery came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Pegaso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Valery couldn't finish the play. Mihail Pânzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardino Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Pânzaru in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Inautzi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loren Prats saved Pegaso from getting behind. Angelino Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Loren Prats made a huge save. Loren Prats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Inautzi's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Angelino Inautzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loren Prats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Pânzaru came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Delmar Tabor hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mihail Pânzaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Pegaso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jairo Valery in the 54th minute. Santos Montel struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Loren Prats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. Delmar Tabor made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético Rio Cuarto's Teodoro Cordarryl. Bernardino Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Pânzaru in the 66th minute of play. Mihail Pânzaru took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Dimas. Bernardino Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 71stth minute of the game Mihail Pânzaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardino Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Pânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Silvano Endira managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 79th minute Mihail Pânzaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Teodoro Cordarryl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Rio Cuarto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pegaso the free kick. After 80 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Cordarryl. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 81st minute of play. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Rio Cuarto from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardino Dimas. Bernardino Dimas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Santos Montel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Loren Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pegaso supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pegaso would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
