Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Penczkowski in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Montel in the 18th minute of play forced Cementerio Club's goalkeeper Serafin Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Angelino Inautzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
