The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Rencio got free with Bernardino Dimas in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Rio Cuarto's zone, Edgard Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Dimas came out of the goal and Edgard Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Inautzi in the 35th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Teodoro Cordarryl with Gustav Högström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 42 minutes into the game, Gustav Högström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cachiyuyo EAS's Niceto Oriche quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

The wind increased when Fabricio Rencio made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Fabricio Rencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Polentzi in the 56th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Dito Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 91 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Endura threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cachiyuyo EAS's Javier Palban quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Rio Cuarto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cachiyuyo EAS.
