An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Rencio in the 5th minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Loren Prats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Prats having to interfere. Niceto Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Loren Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Edgard Polentzi got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Pegaso's Loren Prats got control of the ball when Carlos Sevenants tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaristo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Havier in the 18th minute of play. Loren Prats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Rencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Cachiyuyo EAS were awarded a corner. Fabricio Rencio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cachiyuyo EAS's Fabricio Rencio to fire away a dangerous shot which Loren Prats despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pegaso's Silvano Endira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Javier Palban, made in the 24th minute of the game. Evaristo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Havier in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Valery to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Fabricio Rencio made a precise shot to the right of Loren Prats. Pegaso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Niceto Oriche got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabricio Rencio made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Polentzi in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loren Prats saved Pegaso from getting behind. Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cachiyuyo EAS from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Oriche. Cachiyuyo EAS made a substitution. Dito Sena replaced Fabricio Rencio. In the 80th minute, Niceto Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Valery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selwyn Seangchjan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Selwyn Seangchjan fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Selwyn Seangchjan a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pegaso players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cachiyuyo EAS.
