With a little luck, Lulina FC's Ercole Pace got control of the ball when Faustino Enol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustino Enol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ercole Pace made a huge save. After 14 minutes Lulina FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldo Ihazintu who took care of the corner kick. Ascacibar-Pérez's Osvaldo Ihazintu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ercole Pace in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18th minute, Ismael Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Losito charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Losito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Lulina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Losito to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Enol scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Pace, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francesco Raffa's late challenge caught a Ascacibar-Pérez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Raffa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ascacibar-Pérez booed when Lulina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Sivieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Lulina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Enol came free, but Ercole Pace reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Samuel Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
