In the 3rd minute Călin Pătrășconiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, October 04's Pedro Paulo Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Jienescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of October 04 booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Rainea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Jienescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Paes in the 11th minute of play. Davi Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Ciomag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Panait Vişoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Ciomag came free, but Davi Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toni Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Davi Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Ciomag in the 30th minute of the match. Betão Faria struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Daniel Jienescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for October 04. Davi Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Pătrășconiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davi Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isac Ciomag went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Isac Ciomag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davi Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half GoalHunters were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Călin Pătrășconiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. GoalHunters's supporters rose to their feet, but Călin Pătrășconiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 minutes of play, GoalHunters's Radomil Gotfryd made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davi Couto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octav Stoicescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Davi Couto. October 04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isac Ciomag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Davi Couto made a huge save. When Tião Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored October 04's protests and gave Tião Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GoalHunters booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panait Vişoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Davi Couto made a huge save. After 72 minutes of play October 04's Tião Amaral was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of GoalHunters booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davi Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Călin Pătrășconiu in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the game, Fabinho Falcão landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 78 played minutes GoalHunters got a freekick which was hit by Isac Ciomag. With an all-out effort, GoalHunters's Davi Couto threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Călin Pătrășconiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, October 04's Davi Couto got control of the ball when Călin Pătrășconiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Călin Pătrășconiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Davi Couto came out and tried to block the shot, but Călin Pătrășconiu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 85th minute. 93 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Gotfryd came free, but Davi Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The October 04 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GoalHunters were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
